As you all know, I am a Reiki Master and teacher. I wasn’t always a Reiki Master and teacher though. I had to learn how to harness that energy and be a conduit for it to move through me and into those that seek out the healing powers of this universal energy. I also studied Quantum healing and Metaphysical healing for my doctorate. One of the universal things I learned in each of these forms of healing is that the healing is actually coming from the one needing to heal. The energy we are sharing helps them heal all on their own. Then why in the world do we need someone else to share this energy, why are we not able to heal without it?
We all can heal without it but it is much stronger and works faster when we are sharing this universal power! You have been giving yourself Reiki/ metaphysical healing since you were a small child and your parents and caregivers have shared this with you as well. Remember a time you stubbed your toe, and your initial response was to hold your toe, sometimes rocking back and forth and breathing really deeply, until you began to feel the pain dissipate and calm down. Your mom kissed your booboo, and it was suddenly way better. Without knowing it, energy healing was being given and received. With the proper training, the healing can be upped tremendously.
Just for today though, with no formal training, just the knowledge that your intention can begin the healing process, imagine sharing the energy you have and the energy you are pulling into you from the universe. Imagine that energy working on the greater good of someone you know and love (yourself?) and say a thank you for the healing. The belief that it works/worked will insure the results. Ask, believe and receive.
